Kerala Blasters joins hands with Sporthood

Kerala Blasters Football Club (KBFC) has announced a strategic partnership with Sporthood to expand the Grassroots program in Kerala.

Grassroots and Youth Development wing of Kerala Blasters – Youth Blasters will be combining with Sporthood to execute this program. The club aims to spread the KBFC style of football across Kerala through a standardized, scientific, and procedural form of coaching that helps in developing young players.

The youth wings of the clubs focus on nurturing young talent across the country. Moreover, Sporthood is India’s fastest-growing network of Sports Centers that focuses on improving participation among sports enthusiasts using their network and technological expertise.

This partnership will be focusing on providing quality education along with adequate football structures for young players. The academies opened under this partnership will get guidance from experts at KBFC. Moreover, the club will consistently monitor the young talent coming from these academies.

The promising talent from the age group of 5 to 15 years will be promoted to Young Blasters District Centre of Excellence, provided they clear the trials held by KBFC. The best talents (14+ years) from the Young Blasters District CoE’s will then have an opportunity to be scouted to the Young Blasters High-Performance Academy (HPA). Along with developing players, this partnership will also look to nurture young coaches.
