Kerala Blasters inks partnership with Delfrez

Delfrez was launched last week as Suguna Foods announced its first click-and-mortar brand.

The Indian Super League outfit, Kerala Blasters and Delfrez have penned down a partnership. Delfrez is a newly launched brand from India’s leading poultry conglomerate Suguna Foods.

Delfrez was launched last week as Suguna Foods announced its first click-and-mortar brand. The motive of launching a new brand comes as a part of Suguna’s strategic brand restructuring at a group level.

The newly launched brand will be available both in an online and offline retail format that will provide diverse poultry products from the house of Suguna. The group has invested over 100 crore in Delfrez and plans to launch over 1000 outlets by 2025.

Speaking on the occasion, Nikhil Bhardwaj, Director, Kerala Blasters FC, said: “A big welcome to Delfrez into the KBFC family! There’s a great alignment of our visions, purpose and ambitions to be at the top in our respective fields. We look forward to building a fruitful association.”

Adding to it, Mr. MVR Krishna Prasad, Vice President of Suguna Foods/Delfrez, stated: “We are delighted and thrilled to associate with the young and energetic team of the league, Kerala Blasters FC for the upcoming season. The team has reaped enormous fans across the country and has played exceptionally well over these seasons.”

He added, “As a consumer brand, we have a strong connect across regions and this pandemic has given us a way to reposition and emerge bigger to reach out to more customers with healthier and easier meal options. Together we are believing this association will bring new strides for both the brands in our respective spheres and we look forward to an amazing season ahead.”

On the field, Kerala Blasters will be playing against Chennaiyin FC in their next ISL fixture, which is scheduled on December 22. The Tuskers are currently sitting fifth in the league table, collecting nine points from their last six games.
