Kerala Blasters, Ather Energy sign partnership extension

Ather Energy will prolong to be associated with the team for the third consecutive year.

Kerala Blasters, the Indian Super League (ISL) club, have signed a partnership renewal with the Indian EV company, Ather Energy.

With this development, Ather Energy will prolong to be associated with the team for the third consecutive year. The unveiling of the extension was also done by the team through its social media handles.

Commenting on the association, Ravneet Singh Phokela, Chief Business Officer, Ather Energy, said, “We are delighted to continue our support with KBFC for the third year in a row. The trajectory of KBFC in this tournament parallels our own in the EV business. KBFC has established itself as one of the country’s most enthusiastic clubs and a finalist in the 2021 season. Similarly, Ather has developed strong salience in Kerala over the last year, becoming the market’s biggest EV player. Our association with KBFC has helped us to drive awareness and familiarity for our brand in Kerala and also across the country, as we continue to expand our footprint. We are hopeful that with this partnership we will be able to showcase our scooters to a larger audience and accelerate the adoption of EVs across the country.”

Nikhil Bhardwaj, Director, Kerala Blasters, said, “We are excited to extend our partnership with Ather. They have been at the forefront of India’s transition to electric vehicles, and the club looks forward to helping this transformation continue and drive awareness about sustainable development.”

Ather Energy, the Indian EV company headquartered in Bengaluru, was founded by Tarun Mehta and Swapnil Jain in 2013. The company is one of the leading entities in its sector and has manufactured electric vehicle charging infrastructure throughout the country called Ather Grid.

Ahead of the commencement of the new season, Kerala Blasters are having a fruitful outing on the commercial pitch as they inked associations with Kalliyath TMT, DenwudYakultCLUB WBodyFirst and 1XBat Sporting Lines
