The Pakistan Super League (PSL) team, Karachi Kings have signed a partnership with Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital and Research Centre for the upcoming season.
With this development, the hospital has been named the official charity partner of the team. The team announced its alliance on its official social media handles with the caption, “We welcome Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer & Research Center as our Charity Partner for #HBLPSL8”.
Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital and Research Centre is a medical institution founded by the former Pakistani captain and Prime Minister, Imran Khan. The hospital was made in honour of his late mother.
Karachi Kings will look to bury the ghost of last season’s disastrous campaign and will be looking forward to having a phenomenal time this coming season. They will kick-start their mission on February 14 in Karachi against Peshawar Zalmi.
