Juventus FC collaborates with Seletti

This association with Juventus marks Seletti’s first entry into the world of football.

The Serie A outfit, Juventus has announced a new collaboration with Seletti. Both the entities have joined their hands aiming to create a new and exciting project for the Old Lady fans. Seletti is an Italian company that is known for its pop-soul and its collaborations in various areas of contemporary lifestyle.

This association with Juventus marks Seletti’s first entry into the world of football. Both will be working on a new project labelled as the SELETTI x JUVENTUS project.

The partnership has already seen its commencement as Seletti has launched a collection of folding chairs, which are easy to handle and resistant. It is decorated with the Juventus graphic pattern, its logo in an explosion of fluorescent colours.

The folding chair is considered one of the most long-lived objects for the home present in the Seletti catalogue.

This newly launched SELETTI x JUVENTUS is a chair made up of an aluminium structure, which guarantees lightness and resistance. While it also comes with a padded seat and backrest covered in varnished PVC. Currently, there are three graphic patterns made available to the buyers which consist of black and white, which is the traditional colours of Juventus and it is added with some touches of fluorescent colours, like yellow, pink and green.

Speaking on the occasion, Andrea Bano, Juventus Head of Merchandising Revenue, said: “Our ambition is to establish ourselves as a lifestyle brand, capable of being relevant through innovative initiatives even off the pitch.

“This collaboration allows Juventus to enter the interior design sector, new territory for us and never before explored by other clubs in our industry at this level. The agreement with Seletti is based on the sharing of common values ​​such as Italian-ness, an international vocation and the desire to always accept new challenges.”

Stefano Seletti, artistic director of the homonymous company, said: “I would never have really believed that I could create a furniture collection with a football team! But Seletti is eclectic, restless and always ready to accept new challenges.

“The idea of ​​the folding chair stems from the fact that we have reflected precisely on how to watch football: a game is appreciated more if you watch in company, perhaps by eating and drinking all together. And it often happens that you invite friends over and need extra seating. A folding chair can easily solve a situation like this, and if it is branded with the logo and the colours of your favourite team, everything becomes more fun.”

Following this association, Juventus and Seletti are aiming at a new merchandising sector dedicated to the fans. While it will also focus on those who have the vision of 360-degree creativity. The collaboration also represents further growth for the Juventus brand, which continues to expand into sectors other than football.

On the field, Juventus will be facing Genoa CFC in their next Serie A fixture on December, 6. While the Old Lady currently sits 7th in the league table, collecting 24 points from their last 15 league fixtures.
