Just Women’s Sports has announced a multi-year partnership deal with the National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL). As per the deal, the media group will be able to publish match highlights from current and previous seasons on its website and social media pages.
Just Women’s Sports Inc., is a sports-focused digital media company. JWS provides fans with information regarding women’s sports through podcasts, social media, and editorial material.
According to Just Women’s Sports founder and CEO Haley Rosen, the platform will be able to use NWSL highlights without having to wait for the league to release them first.
The NWSL is the highest professional women’s soccer league in the United States. It is currently owned by the teams. Previously, it was under the management of the United States Soccer Federation.
Haley Rosen said, “The NWSL continues to generate some of the most exciting soccer in the world, and we are thrilled to be providing a platform that will bring fans access to the league’s biggest moments.
“Highlights are the cornerstone of digital sports media. They are the easiest way for current fans to engage with their favorite athletes and for prospective fans to discover what all the hype is about.”
NWSL Commissioner Jessica Berman said, “This is an exciting opportunity to partner with a digital-first media brand dedicated to growing the audience for women’s soccer. Just Women’s Sports understands the space, and we believe this is just the beginning of what will be an important and long-lasting relationship between JWS and the NWSL.”
