JSW Sports, the distinguished sports arm of the JSW Group, has added 19-year-old Rajasthan cricketer Kartik Sharma to its illustrious lineup of athletes.

Born and raised in Rajasthan, he made his senior squad debut last year and has since established himself as a regular in all three formats. Kartik, a right-handed batter with exceptional wicketkeeping talents, symbolises the future generation of Indian cricketers who are both skilled and adaptable. He made his senior debut against Uttarakhand in the 2024-25 Ranji Trophy season, scoring a century. He also became Rajasthan’s highest scorer in the 2024-25 Vijay Hazare Trophy, with 445 runs in nine matches.

Divyanshu Singh, Chief Executive Officer, JSW Sports, said, “Kartik is an exciting young prospect who has shown maturity beyond his years. At such a young age, he has already established himself as a regular member of his state’s senior team, which showcases his consistency, temperament, and future potential. His ability to deliver across formats at just 19 has further cemented his status as one of the most closely watched talents in domestic cricket. We, at JSW Sports, look forward to supporting his journey as he moves into an important phase of his career.”

Expressing his gratitude and optimism, Kartik Sharma said, “I am delighted to join the JSW Sports family. It is a huge step in my career at this early stage, and I am thankful for the trust they have shown in me. Having the backing of JSW Sports, an organisation that has supported so many top athletes, gives me great confidence. I am excited for what lies ahead and will continue to work hard to make the most of every opportunity.”

Kartik will benefit from JSW Sports’ world-class training environment, expert athlete management, and substantial commercial representation. He is now a member of the Rajasthan team for the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy, which will play its first match against Tamil Nadu on November 26. With the Indian Premier League (IPL) auction looming, Kartik’s all-round consistency and temperament have positioned him as a strong long-term possibility.

JSW Sports’ roster features some of India’s most well-known and rising cricketers, including 2023 World Champion Nikhat Zareen, Anahat Singh, Veer Chotrani, Ramit Tandon, Olympic gold medallist Neeraj Chopra, and prominent cricketers Axar PatelDhruv Jurel, Shafali Varma, and Jemimah Rodrigues.

With this agreement, JSW Sports reaffirms its commitment to nurturing the next generation of Indian sports talent across several disciplines with the potential to excel on a global scale.
