The England ODI vice-captain Jos Buttler has signed a deal with Castore. As per this deal with sportswear brand, Jos Buttler will the brand ambassador Castore from the start of 2021. The wicketkeeper-batsman will also be part of the company’s Better Never Stops campaign. Previously, the brand also announced a deal with England rugby union captain Owen Farrell.
The association with Buttler is Castore’s first contract with an English cricketer, however, they are the kit sponsors of the West Indies national side. Earlier, the brand collaborated with Andy Murray. The British tennis great is also one of the investors in Castore.
The cricketer is currently in England before he departs for England’s Test tour of Sri Lanka. Butler has been working Kookaburra for a long time, so it will be interesting to see whether Castore take up his kit duties. He has lately involved in a lot of cricket from ODI and T20 series in South Africa to the Indian Premier League in the UAE.
