JioStar rolls out second edition of ‘Brand Spotlight’ to maximize advertiser impact during IPL 2025

As the TATA Indian Premier League (IPL) excitement takes over the nation once again, JioStar is gearing up to roll out the second edition of the brand spotlight, a unique advertising initiative designed to capture the attention of millions of viewers.

This offering will include select brand commercials just within the golden window of the IPL’s first six overs, ensuring maximum visibility. For the first time, this opportunity will extend to linear TV, allowing advertisers to take advantage of unprecedented viewership during the opening game on Star Sports. Marquee brands like My11Circle, Campa Energy, GPay, Birla Opus, Poker Baazi, PhonePe, Sprite, Dream11, Campa, TVS, Asian Paints, MRF, Joy Consumer Products, and Carat Lane will enjoy unprecedented visibility as they lead the way in this high-octane campaign.

In 2024, this effort transformed ad spots into high-engagement events, allowing six key companies to dominate the first overs of the IPL’s curtain-raiser between Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB). Unlike standard ad spots, these businesses benefitted from streamlined and appointment-driven visibility, taking advantage of peak audience aggregation.
