JioCinema strikes partnership with NEWJ to enhance digital distribution of IPL 2023

As per the partnership, NEWJ has been showcasing the match highlights of every IPL game in six languages.

The official digital streaming partner of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023-27, JioCinema has landed a partnership with the media-tech startup, NEWJ (New Emerging World of Journalism) to enhance the digital distribution of the ongoing season of the competition.

As per the partnership, NEWJ has been showcasing the match highlights of every IPL game in six languages including Bengali, Tamil, Marathi, Bhojpuri, Punjabi, and Hindi across its social media platforms.

The OTT platform had aimed to provide viewers with the option to watch their favourite team play in the languages that are most familiar to them in addition to broadcasting matches on screens in every nook and cranny.
