Jindal Stainless, one of India’s leading stainless steel manufacturers, has partnered with the Inspire Institute of Sport (IIS) to support the Track & Field Development Program at IIS’s Hisar centre for the 2025–26 fiscal year.

The collaboration highlights the Jindal Stainless Foundation’s ongoing commitment to nurturing sports excellence and empowering young talent across India.

The Hisar centre functions as a key talent identification hub, scouting promising athletes from across the country and integrating them into a structured training ecosystem. The program focuses on athletes aged 18–25, providing specialized coaching in sprints, hurdles, and throws. This year, a cohort of 39 athletes will benefit from world-class facilities, expert coaching, sports science support, nutrition guidance, and financial assistance for travel to competitive events. The program also features the expertise of biomechanics specialist Dr. Klaus Bartonietz, former coach of Olympic champion javelin thrower Neeraj Chopra.

Speaking about the initiative, Managing Director, Jindal Stainless, Mr Abhyuday Jindal, said, “At Jindal Stainless, we believe in empowering talent and creating opportunities where they matter most. Supporting IIS’ Track & Field Development program is our way of ensuring that promising young athletes can access the best resources and compete with confidence on the global stage. Sports is one of the key focus areas of our Foundation, and through this collaboration, we aim to nurture India’s future champions.”

Manisha Malhotra, President of the Inspire Institute of Sport, added, “The partnership with Jindal Stainless is a significant step in advancing IIS’ vision of creating a world-class ecosystem for Indian athletes. Their support will allow us to strengthen our Track & Field Development program in Hisar, while providing young talent with access to state-of-the-art facilities, scientific expertise, and competitive opportunities essential for success at the national and international levels.”

The program draws athletes from diverse regions of India, selected through IIS’s rigorous Talent Identification Program. Notable participants include budding javelin throwers Aditya and Manpreet Singh, who are expected to benefit immensely from the high-performance training environment.

Jindal Stainless has maintained a longstanding association with IIS, supporting sports initiatives at the Hisar centre. By serving as the key sponsor of the Track & Field Development Program this year, the company reinforces its commitment to creating a meaningful social impact in local communities by fostering excellence in sports, fitness, and youth development.

The Jindal Stainless Foundation, the CSR arm of Jindal Stainless, works across diverse areas including community development, education, environment, health, heritage, art and culture, skill development, sports, and disaster response. Through targeted grassroots initiatives, the Foundation aims to create sustainable change and opportunities for communities across India.
