Mr. Peyush Bansal, Co-founder, of Lenskart, said, “Our goal is simple: to ensure that gamers can enjoy their passion without compromising their eye health. The Digital gaming community is growing rapidly and so is the need for high-performance eyewear that helps them hustle through extended gameplay sessions. We want gamers to play at their best, and we are committed to building eyewear that enables that.”
Rohit Potphode, CEO & League Commissioner of GEPL, said, “Having Lenskart join the league as a franchise owner is a landmark moment for GEPL. Peyush Bansal’s passion for technology and innovation will undoubtedly infuse fresh energy into the ecosystem. With Season 2 poised to be bigger and better, we are confident his involvement will help raise the bar for cricket esports.”

Lenskart’s cooperation with eSports seeks to engage gamers more closely and help them stay focused and comfortable while playing on digital screens for extended periods of time.
Season 2 of the GEPL will build on the success of its first season, with an enlarged team model, advanced league dynamics, and increased competition intensity. Real Cricket 24, known for its strategic depth and realism, provides players and fans with cutting-edge gameplay. The season will culminate in a high-octane climax in March 2025, with top teams competing for the coveted title of ‘e-Cricket Icon’ on a worldwide scale.
