Jamshedpur FC signs SBI as principal sponsor

The contract will have Jamshedpur FC feature the SBI logo on the back of their jersey.

Indian Super League outfit, Jamshedpur FC has announced the State Bank of India (SBI) as the principal sponsor. The main aim of this collaboration is to support and grow Indian football. This is the first time in the bank’s history that it has entered into a strategic partnership with an ISL club.

The deal was released in presence of officials from both entities. B. Raghavendra Rao, DMD, SBI, Chanakya Chaudhary, Chairman, JFC and Vice President Corporate Services, Tata Steel, Ashwani Bhatia, MD, SBI, TV Narendran, CEO & MD, Tata Steel along with other senior officers from SBI, Tata Steel and JFC were all in the mix of things when this partnership took place.

The contract will have Jamshedpur FC feature the SBI logo on the back of their jersey. Both entities will organise activities in which the team will engage with fans during the broadcast of their matches. The engagement will further continue on SBI and Jamshedpur FC social media sites as well.

Jamshedpur FC will begin their Indian Super League campaign against SC East Bengal on 21st November.
