Jamshedpur FC join hands with Global Football Alliance

As a member of the GFA, Jamshedpur FC will be a part of the General Assembly.

The Indian Super League outfit, Jamshedpur FC has joined hands with the Global Football Alliance (GFA), which makes the club the 20th member of the GFA across the world. As the Red Miners are accepted into the GFA, it has gone to mark its name alongside several well-known football clubs around the world.

The list of which includes, AS Saint-Etienne, AEK Athens, Crystal Palace, Villarreal CF, AZ Alkmaar, VFL Wolfsburg, Melbourne Victory, New England Revolution, and many more. All the members of the GFA have formed a strategic alliance to share innovative ideas, create synergies, and leverage the alliance on a big scale.

GFA’s main mission is to set up a global alliance of football clubs which would further make it more competitive together and handle future challenges in a better way. While the project aims to look out and minimize the new risks, encourage the club to re-think their strategy and look together for innovative solutions.

Speaking on the occasion, Jamshedpur FC CEO, Mukul Choudhari said: “We are proud to be the first and only Indian club representative of the Global Football Alliance. Being a member of GFA gives us a chance to leverage and synergise with some of the top clubs across the world who are part of it. With football in India picking up momentum and growing so rapidly, the alliance will prove to be a major milestone for the club as we look to learn from as well as contribute to the GFA.”

As a member of the GFA, Jamshedpur FC will be a part of the General Assembly, which would be meeting quarterly. While the club will also host monthly virtual round tables of club members, adding to that it will also be responsible to host regular knowledge-sharing webinars.

On the field, Jamshedpur FC will be facing Odisha FC in their next ISL 2021/22 fixture, scheduled on December 13. While the Red Miners are currently sitting fourth in the league table, collecting eight points from their last five games.
