JAKSON Group, an Indian energy and industrial technology company, has announced a strategic partnership with the former India cricket team captain, Sourav Ganguly, who has been appointed as the company’s first brand ambassador.

The move forms part of JAKSON’s broader strategy to strengthen brand visibility and accelerate the adoption of its clean energy and sustainable infrastructure solutions across domestic and international markets.

The collaboration underlines JAKSON Group’s long-term commitment to supporting India’s transition towards a low-carbon economy, while expanding its presence across key growth segments, including solar energy, distributed power solutions, green hydrogen, and integrated infrastructure development.

By associating with one of India’s most recognised sporting leaders, the company aims to enhance public engagement with sustainability-driven technologies and reinforce trust in its diversified energy portfolio.

Commenting on the association, Sameer Gupta, Chairman & Managing Director, said, “We are delighted to welcome ‘Dada’ to the JAKSON family. Sourav Ganguly embodies leadership, resilience, and performance – values deeply aligned with us. This partnership reflects a shared belief in staying ahead and delivering consistently. With his credibility, we are confident this association will strengthen our brand and accelerate the adoption of our sustainable solutions across India and globally. Our growth is anchored in strong leadership, supported by Mr Sundeep Gupta, Vice Chairman, and Mr Bikesh Ogra, Vice Chairman & Global CEO, Jakson Green, along with the next generation driving the Group forward.”

Sourav Ganguly added, “JAKSON’s vision across the entire value chain of distributed power, solar energy, green molecules, and infrastructure – power, metro, civil, and water, is both timely and impactful. I am excited to associate with a brand contributing meaningfully to India’s energy transition and a greener future.”

Ganguly, one of India’s most influential sporting leaders, will represent the brand across marketing campaigns, corporate initiatives, and stakeholder engagement platforms. As part of the agreement, Ganguly will feature in integrated marketing campaigns, corporate outreach programmes, and strategic initiatives aimed at strengthening awareness around clean energy adoption and sustainable infrastructure development.

Established in 1947, JAKSON Group operates across multiple segments of the energy and infrastructure ecosystem, including solar module manufacturing, distributed energy solutions, engineering, procurement and construction services, green hydrogen development, civil construction, and urban infrastructure projects. The company has built a growing presence across domestic and global markets through its manufacturing facilities, sales network, and project portfolio.

Ganguly continues to remain a prominent figure in brand endorsements across various brands, including Kabuni, Vura Bau-Chemie LLP, Olyv, Raft Cosmic EV, Casagrand, Veedol, Beurer, and more, reflecting his enduring credibility and cross-sector appeal.

The partnership highlights an emerging trend of sustainability-led organisations leveraging influential public figures to simplify complex energy transition narratives, enhance brand familiarity, and strengthen stakeholder engagement in an increasingly competitive clean technology landscape.
