Jaipur Pink Panthers, the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) outfit, have landed a partnership extension with the Indian sportswear and sports equipment brand, TYKA.
The initial partnership between the two parties was etched in 2019 and the brand will continue to be the team’s kitting partner for the ninth edition. Ahead of the eighth season of the competition, the two parties involved also signed a partnership renewal.
The team did the unveiling of the association extension through its social media handles with the caption, “The #PantherSquad is proud to have @tyka_sport continue as our kitting partner for PKL Season 9️⃣! 👕👚”
The Indian brand, TYKA, was introduced in 2009 by TK Sports Private Limited. The sportswear and sports equipment company has teamed up with some of the renowned teams from the Indian domestic sports circuit.
The Jaipur-based team competes in the Indian premium kabaddi competition and is owned by the Bollywood actor, Abhishek Bachchan.
In the previous season, Jaipur Pink Panthers finished eighth on the points table with 63 points. The team will kick off its new PKL season on October 7 against UP Yoddhas at the Shree Kanteerava Indoor Stadium, Bengaluru at 7:30 PM IST.
