In a bid to bring the football frenzy closer to the fans, Hero Indian Super League (Hero ISL) has teamed up with Twitter for league-specific emojis ahead of the 2020-21 season. While tweeting about the Hero ISL, fans can use various hashtags such as #LetsFootball or #ISLTwitter to show their love for the league.
This tie-up will also see the clubs use their own hashtags, which fans can use to cheer their favorite teams on matchdays. Every hashtag will have a creative emoji. These hashtags are as follows:
SC East Bengal: #WeAreSCEB or #ChhilamAchiThakbo
Jamshedpur FC: #JamKeKhelo or #जमकेखेलो
Odisha FC: #OdishaFC or #ଆମଟିମ୍ଆମଗେମ୍
Bengaluru FC: #WeAreBFC or #ನಮ್ಮಬೆಂಗಳೂರು
Mumbai City FC: #MumbaiCity or #AamchiCity
Kerala Blasters FC: #WhyWePlay or #YennumYellow
Hyderabad FC: #HyderabadFC or #HarKadamNayaDum
Chennaiyin FC: #AllInForChennaiyin or #AattamReloaded
FC Goa: #ForcaGoa or #RiseAgain
ATK Mohun Bagan FC: #Mariners or #JoyMohunBagan
North East United FC: #StrongerAsOne or #NEUFC
Since the upcoming Hero ISL campaign is set to be staged behind closed doors due to the Covid-19 pandemic, this is one of the many initiatives to help the fans connect and support clubs, in addition to Virtual Attendance and the Fan Wall. Hero ISL is scheduled to begin with a blockbuster match between ATK Mohun Bagan and Kerala Blasters FC in this season’s curtain raiser on November 20.
