Chennaiyin Football Club has agreed to a multi-year sponsorship deal with Apollo Tyres. The new deal will keep Apollo Tyres as the principal sponsor of the Indian Super League club. It is one of the longest-running partnerships in ISL as these two organizations started collaborating from the 2017/18 season.
Over the three years of partnership, Apollo has witnessed CFC win the ISL title in 2017-18 and becoming the first ISL team to qualify for the prestigious AFC Cup in 2019. Chennaiyin FC also managed to reach the finals of ISL and ISL Supercup in 2019.
The two have successfully worked together towards creating fan engagement activities over the years. They have also taken efforts to make positive changes in society. For instance, keeping with Apollo Tyres motto of Go The Distance, they inaugurated special playgrounds for school children from Tamil Nadu villages last season. The endeavor is to create safe play spaces for children while educating them on the concept of reuse and recycle.

The extension of this partnership is mutually beneficial for both the brands and for the upliftment of football as a sport.”

For CFC supporters and football lovers in Chennai, the club and Apollo have come together to organize futsal tournaments. During CFC’s 2019-20 ISL home games, was the special Apollo Tyres motorcade escorting the team bus into the stadium, with ample pomp, sound, and show.
