The Indian Super League (ISL) club, Mumbai City FC have announced a new sponsorship agreement with Ultrahuman, the world’s best and most comprehensive metabolic conditioning platform.
As part of the deal, the brand has become the club’s official wearable partner for the 2024-25 season. This collaboration signifies an important milestone towards boosting player performance and well-being through cutting-edge technology.
Ultrahuman is the forerunner in wearable technology. Ultrahuman offers an in-depth view of the human body by combining an enormous amount of biomarkers on a single platform. MCFC players will utilise the Ultrahuman Ring AIR, the world’s lightest smart ring, to enhance their training, matchday performance, and recuperation.
The Ring AIR is part of the Ultrahuman ecosystem, which also includes Ultrahuman M1, a continuous glucose monitoring platform; Blood Vision, a preventative blood testing platform using pioneering UltraTrace technology; and Ultrahuman Home, an innovative health gadget for one’s house.
Ring AIR will offer insights that will allow players to maintain their endurance and energy levels during a match. Along with this, it will also offer an extensive evaluation of proper deep, NREM, and REM sleep, which is critical for players’ rest and recovery routines. Monitoring athletes’ performance and recovery promotes physical endurance and cognition by monitoring signs including sleep, stress, movement, heart rate (HR), heart rate variability (HRV), and skin temperature.
Kandarp Chandra, CEO, Mumbai City, commented, “Joining hands with Ultrahuman – a pioneer in health technology – is an exciting moment for us. Their evolution through innovation in the health tracking and wearables space will help our players optimize their training and recovery. This aligns with Mumbai City FC’s mission to prioritize player well-being thus laying the foundation for excellence in performance. We look forward to a successful partnership that elevates our team and brings our fans the best football we can play.”
Founder and CEO of Ultrahuman, Mohit Kumar, said, “We are thrilled to partner with the most successful team in Indian Super League (ISL) history. With the Ring AIR, players and coaches will benefit from advanced insights derived from powerful biomarkers to support their performance, cognition and recovery.”
Ultrahuman has joined an esteemed group of sponsors that already consists of Capital Group, Cloud 9, Radio City, DafaNews, Electronic Arts (EA) Sports, Etihad Airways, UpUrFit, and Fast&Up.
