Ampere will continue to serve as East Bengal FC’s official two-wheeler EV partner for the 2024-25 season.

Emami East Bengal FC, one of the most historic clubs in the Indian Super League (ISL), have announced a partnership with Ampere Electric Vehicles.

Ampere, a brand under Greaves Electric Mobility Private Limited, will continue to serve as the club’s official two-wheeler EV partner for the 2024-25 season.

In her statement on the new collaboration, Namrata Parekh, CEO of Emami East Bengal FC, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership and said, “We are delighted to welcome Ampere Electric Scooters as our Official Two-Wheeler EV Partner for the 2024-25 season. This partnership reflects the coming together of tradition and sustainability. It is our long-term commitment to deliver the best and the most innovative solutions for our players and fans alike. This is the coming together of two legacies, to build a roadmap for electrifying victories ahead. Our latest flagship, Ampere Nexus is the first high-performance family electric scooter and resonates with the thrill-seeking and family-oriented loyal fan base of Emami East Bengal FC. The 93 kmph high speed, the 4x strong chassis, the safest LFP chemistry, all represent the grit and endurance of a footballer.”

Ampere, a leading brand in India’s electric two-wheeler market, operates under Greaves Electric Mobility Private Limited. With over 16 years of experience in designing and manufacturing electric vehicles, Ampere has established a vast network of 400+ touchpoints across the country. The brand is recognised for its innovative, high-performance electric scooters, including the Ampere Nexus, which recently completed a record-breaking 10,000 km ride from Kashmir to Kanyakumari.

In addition to their expanding commercial partnerships, including recent collaborations with CMRI Hospital, BookMyShow, and 92.7 Big FM, East Bengal FC have faced significant challenges on the field this season.

With four consecutive losses before the international break, the team finds itself in a difficult position, sitting 13th on the points table. However, the upcoming Kolkata Derby against arch-rivals Mohun Bagan Super Giant, scheduled for October 19 at 7:30 PM IST, offers a pivotal moment for the team to turn its season around and regain momentum.
