ISL 2021/22 Sponsors Watch: Bengaluru FC

The club lifted its maiden ISL trophy in the 2018/19 season by defeating FC Goa in the final.

Bengaluru Football Club is an Indian professional club based in Bangalore, Karnataka. The club was established in 2013 and began its professional football journey playing in I-League that same year. However, currently, it has transferred to the top flight of Indian football, the Indian Super League since the 2017/18 season.

Playing in the I-League, Bengaluru FC has lifted the title twice, one being in their debut season and another in 2015/16. Moving to ISL, Bengaluru FC in their first season, finished top of the table, collecting 40 points in 18 matches, but unfortunately couldn’t lift the title as they suffered a defeat against Chennaiyin FC in the final.

However, the club lifted its maiden ISL trophy in their very next season by defeating FC Goa in the final, they also finished as table toppers. Last season, Bengaluru FC couldn’t show their best form as they finished seventh in the league table, collecting 22 points in their 20 games.

Now that’s all about their on-pitch performance, let’s now turn to their business pitch as we discuss their sponsorship deal in the ongoing ISL 2021/22 season.

Bengaluru FC has roped in Rage Coffee in a two-year deal labelling the brand as their official partner. While following this partnership deal, Rage Coffee will extend its association through digital content and social media interactions and has an aim to make this season more passionate, enthusiastic and energetic.

Moving forward, the Bangalore based club has signed a two-year partnership deal with the Performance Tracking System company, Fitogether. In this association, the company has been labelled as the club’s official team performance partner.

The club has signed Fast&Up as its official nutrition partner this season. The brand will be taking care of all the nutritional necessities of the men’s team players throughout the season. Moving further, Bengaluru FC has signed a one-year deal with cryptocurrency exchange brand, ZebPay and has appointed it as the club’s official crypto-exchange partner.

Recently the club announced about teaming up with Vision11 in a one-year deal, naming the fantasy sports platform as the associate sports partner. Apart from these, Bengaluru FC has the Scottish club, Ranger FC as a club partner, Puma has been roped as an official kit partner, the news portal, DafaNews has been signed as an official partner. That’s not all as the club has JSW, Cup Noodles, Reliance Foundation, JetWay Wi-FI, Inspire Institute of Sports, all as its partners in the ongoing ISL season.

Bengaluru FC will be facing North East United in their opening fixture of the ISL 2021/22 season on 20th November. While the club will be hoping to perform well this time, after learning from their mistakes last season.
