Odisha FC came into existence last season after Delhi Dynamos shifted their base from Delhi to Orissa. The Indian Super League franchise changed their name and home stadium after joining hands with the Odisha government. The name change has not brought fortune for Odisha FC yet as they have endured a tough start to the new season.
In terms of sponsorships for the new campaign, Odisha FC had a new kit sponsor this year. They also went down the route of signing a deal with Indian brand T-10 Sports. Along with Odisha FC, T-10 Sports has also designed kits for Hyderabad FC this season. For designing customized apparel for fans, Odisha FC is partnering with The Arena.
Considering the franchise signed a partnership with the Odisha government, one of the sectors of the govt was going to be the partner of the team. Odisha tourism is the branch of the state government that is working with the ISL franchise. As part of this deal, Odisha tourism features on the front side of the kit.
In terms of local partners for Odisha FC, they have got Bhubaneshwar based Amri hospitals on board for this season. Red FM 93.5 is the official radio partner for Odisha FC this season. GMS group, the owners of Odisha FC are also one of the partners of the club. The in-house sponsorship deal is commonly practised in franchise sport.
Serajuddin mining company is also one of the key partners of Odisha FC this season. They feature on the sleeve of the kit for this campaign. Meanwhile, the Odisha based club is also following the trend of partnering with Edu-tech-based firms by signing a partnership deal with Aspire academy. There are no major eye-popping deals for Odisha FC this season, but they did enough to have an adequate number of sponsors before the start of the 2020/21 season.
