Irfan Pathan, Ajay Devgn launch second season of World Championship of Legends

The second season of WCL aims to bring fans closer to their idols while bringing the thrill of cricket with unrivalled passion.

The World Championship of Legends (WCL) has announced the launch of season 2, which will be held in July 2025.

The unveiling event took place at PVR Juhu during a special screening of the Bollywood movie Singham Again, with a stellar cast of celebrities and sports icons in attendance.

Bollywood actor and co-owner of WCL, Mr Ajay Devgn attended the event, adding his iconic presence to a celebration of the potent fusion of cricket and film. Along with him, former cricketer Irfan Pathan, Mr Harshit Tomar, the founder of WCL, and franchise owners Puneet Singh and Amandeep Singh also joined the Singham.

Irfan Pathan said, “The World Championship of Legends is a fantastic platform that truly embodies the global spirit of cricket. I am excited to see how this league will continue to bring diverse cricketing cultures and legends together all in pursuit of excellence on the world stage.”
