The Indian Racing Festival (IRF) unveiled a pact with ExxonMobil’s flagship brand, Mobil, for the 2024 edition.
Mobil has been named the performance sponsor for the new season, per the pact. The arrangement allows Mobil to power the high-speed IRF cars with the lubricants. A total of six and eight teams from the Indian Racing League (IRL) and Formula 4 Indian Championship (F4IC), respectively, will participate.

By integrating Mobil’s superior lubricants and motor oils, we will ensure that our cars perform at their peak, delivering an exhilarating spectacle for our fans while upholding the highest safety standards throughout the Indian Racing Festival season,” said Akhilesh Reddy, chairman and MD Racing Promotions Private Limited (RPPL). It is the promoter of IRF.

As per the entity, Mobil’s 5w-40 tends to provide an all-round performance to Formula 4 cars.
Via the Indian Racing League and the Formula 4 Indian Championship, the Indian Racing Festival, helmed by RPPL, caters to the evolving Indian motorsport enthusiasts. The third season of the IRL kicks off today followed by a night street circuit race at the Chennai Formula Racing Circuit next weekend.
