The English football club, Ipswich Town FC have announced a partnership with an IT service platform, Halo.
As part of the deal, the brand has become the club’s new front-of-shirt sponsor. Halo takes over from minority owner Ed Sheeran, whose Mathematics Tour logo has been on Town jerseys for the past four seasons.
The three-year partnership with Halo is the club’s most significant in history, and the service-management specialists will sponsor both the men’s and women’s first-team kits.
The Suffolk-based corporation, with its headquarters in Stowmarket, originally featured on the Town’s shirts as a sleeve sponsor midway during the 2023-24 season and has since been one of the club’s principal partners.
Paul Hamilton, Chief Executive Officer of Halo, commented, “We are absolutely delighted to have taken our partnership with Ipswich Town to the next level. It’s an honour to follow Ed Sheeran as front-of-shirt sponsor, having been sleeve sponsor during the last two seasons. We’re looking forward to seeing the Halo logo on the shirts for the next three years at least, which we hope will be another exciting period for the club.”
Town Chairman, Mark Ashton, said, “We’re really pleased to have furthered our partnership with Halo in what is a record shirt sponsorship deal for the club. Having made it clear we had no intention of moving towards a gambling sponsor, we’re proud to be working so closely with another Suffolk business which shares many of our values. We look forward to seeing their logo on the front of our shirts from next season.”
