APL Apollo tubes have entered into a partnership with Delhi Capitals (DC) as the ‘Principal Sponsor’ of the team. As part of the deal, the company’s logo was featuring on the back of the playing jersey last edition, however, this year it has taken the front spot on the chest.
APL Apollo tubes are the largest producer of ERW Steel Pipes and Sections in India. This strategic partnership will help leveraging the brand’s image in multiple ways such as digital platform, marketing activities and also TVC. The deal also involves virtual meet and greet.
The brand wants to send out a very strong message that winning is important but at the same time mental resilience is equally necessary. Through this deal, they can also showcase the company’s core values and relate the character of the products with the players which make it more appealing and relatable to the audience.
With this partnership, the brand also gets access to some of the marquee players such as Shikhar Dhawan, Shreyas Iyer, Prithvi Shaw and Rishabh Pant who would feature in multiple photoshoots and TVC which would be circulated across various digital platforms.
In 2019, APL Apollo Tubes was seen featuring on the back of the playing kit. But this year the brand has taken the front spot on the chest and the back spot is occupied by ‘EbixCash’.
