TV9 Bharatvarsh signs deal with Kolkata Knight Riders

With the Indian Premier League just 2 weeks away from its schedule start, India’s leading Hindi news networks TV9 Bharatvarsh, has signed a sponsorship deal with two-time IPL champions, Kolkata Knight Riders.

The deal will see TV9 Bharatvarsh as the official partner of the KKR team, with its logo placed on the Leading arm of the team jersey. The deal will also see TV9 having exclusive rights towards usage of team logo, players images, virtual meet and greet with fans and so on.

“The meteoric rise of our national Hindi news channel TV9 Bharatvarsh to the No. 2 position shows that the news viewers not just expect but reward innovation in their daily news experience and we are happy to sign with Kolkata Knight Riders and Rajasthan Royals to further enhance the experience for our viewers,” said TV9 CEO, Barun Das.

KKR CEO, Venky Mysore wrote on Twitter, “Knight Riders Welcomes @TV9Bharatvarsh as our partner for both @KKRiders & @TKRiders. Their significant reach across various markets in India in 5 different languages will help us stay connected with our fans.”

TV9 is also the official sponsor for Caribbean Premier League team, Trinbago Knight Riders owned by Kolkata Knight Riders promoters. TV9 logo can be seen sported on the right chest of the TKR jersey.

Last month, TV9 also partnered with IPL franchise, Rajasthan Royals as their front of jersey sponsor. Associating with two IPL franchises will definitely guarantee them huge visibility in one of the most popular T-20 tournaments in the world.
