The lifestyle brand, Tommy Hilfiger Travel Gear, has been named the travel partner of Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) for the 2026 season of the Indian Premier League (IPL), marking a new commercial collaboration that combines lifestyle branding with the logistical demands of one of the world’s largest franchise cricket tournaments.
The partnership has been facilitated by Brand Concepts Limited, the official licensee for Tommy Hilfiger Travel Gear in India. As part of the agreement, the brand will supply a range of travel accessories to support the team’s movements across IPL host cities during the multi-city tournament.
Under the arrangement, players and team personnel will travel with Tommy Hilfiger Travel Gear backpacks and premium luggage, including products from the brand’s Las Vegas luggage range, throughout the 2026 IPL season. The collaboration highlights the increasing role of lifestyle and travel brands within the IPL sponsorship ecosystem, where partnerships extend beyond traditional categories to support operational needs while delivering brand visibility.
Commenting on the development, Abhinav Kumar, CEO at Brand Concepts Limited, said, “Tommy Hilfiger Travel Gear represents a spirit of movement, performance and modern ambition. We are delighted to partner with Lucknow Super Giants for IPL 2026, as this collaboration reflects our shared commitment to resilience and excellence both on and off the field.”
For Lucknow Super Giants, the agreement add another brand to their growing commercial portfolio, which already includes partnerships with companies such as Kei Industries and JK Cement.
The 19th season of the IPL is scheduled to begin on March 28, with Lucknow Super Giants set to open their campaign against Delhi Capitals on April 1. After finishing seventh in the previous season, the franchise has reshaped its squad ahead of the new campaign, blending international experience with emerging talent.
At the player auction, LSG secured additions including Wanindu Hasaranga, Anrich Nortje, and Josh Inglis, while retaining a core group featuring Rishabh Pant, Nicholas Pooran, Mitchell Marsh, Aiden Markram, Abdul Samad, Mayank Yadav, and Mohammad Shami.
The IPL continues to serve as one of the most powerful marketing platforms for brands seeking large-scale consumer engagement in India. With teams travelling across multiple cities during the tournament, partnerships with travel and lifestyle brands are becoming increasingly relevant, allowing companies to align with the mobility, performance, and high-visibility environment associated with the league.
