Lubi Industries has extended its partnership with SunRisers Hyderabad, continuing as principal sponsor for the 2026 season of the Indian Premier League (IPL).
The renewal strengthens the company’s strategy to use cricket’s national reach to enhance brand visibility and deepen engagement with fans across key growth markets.
As part of the agreement, Lubi will launch an integrated marketing campaign featuring two digital films with SRH players. The campaign aims to build emotional connection with cricket audiences while reinforcing the brand’s positioning around performance, reliability and long-term value creation.
Lubi Industries, a manufacturer of pumps, motors, valves, HVAC systems, solar pumping solutions and EV charging equipment, has increasingly invested in sports partnerships to expand brand recall beyond its traditional business-to-business audience. Its previous associations include partnerships with Telugu Titans, Patna Pirates and Gujarat Titans, reflecting a wider effort to build consumer familiarity through sport-led storytelling.
K. Shanmugam, CEO of Sunrisers Hyderabad, said, “We’re thrilled to welcome Lubi Industries into the SunRisers family. A brand with six decades of trust and performance is exactly the kind of partner that resonates with the values of our team. Together, we look forward to a season that brings real value to both sides of this partnership.”
Ronak Porecha – Director of Lubi Industries LLP, added, “For a brand built on resilience, teamwork, and performance across six decades, partnering with SunRisers Hyderabad feels both natural and timely. SRH’s fiercely loyal fanbase and a playing style defined by all-round consistency and spirited competition mirror Lubi’s own values, reliability under pressure, precision in execution, and showing up when it matters most. Through this partnership, we bring the same high-performance promise we deliver in every pump to every fan who stands behind their team”.
The partnership will be activated through a mix of broadcast visibility, digital content and fan engagement initiatives across the IPL season. The tournament’s multi-month calendar and large-scale audience reach provide Lubi with a sustained platform to strengthen brand familiarity across regional and national markets.
Within the broader commercial ecosystem, the SunRisers continues to attract a diverse portfolio of partners, including Uber Bike, AirAsia, City Union Bank, Wrogn, Shree Cement, Navi UPI, BKT Tyres, Bisleri, Kuhl, EcoLink, and Budweiser 0.0, underlining the franchise’s continued commercial appeal.
On the field, SRH has built positive momentum following a strong victory over Rajasthan Royals, moving into the top four of the league standings. Upcoming fixtures against Chennai Super Kings and Delhi Capitals will be key as the team looks to consolidate its position in the playoff race.
The renewal highlights a broader trend of industrial and infrastructure-focused brands leveraging high-visibility sports properties to strengthen credibility, support distribution networks, and create stronger emotional connections with consumers in competitive markets.
