However, they will gain a significant tactical boost for this game with the projected return of Mitchell Starc, whose quickness and expertise will be critical in combating RR’s explosive beginnings. For DC, this game is about pride and mathematical survival; a defeat here would make reaching the playoffs extremely impossible.

The two teams have accumulated precisely 15 victories in 30 matches since the debut season in 2008. While the overall record is equal, the Royals have usually had the home edge in Jaipur.
