In the 34th match of the IPL 2026, Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) will take on Gujarat Titans (GT) today, April 24, at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.
RCB, who are third in the points standings, are seeking to capitalise on their home advantage following a disheartening 6-wicket loss to Delhi. Rajat Patidar heads a team that is still largely reliant on the great Virat Kohli, who has scored 247 runs this season (ranked sixth overall). The batting lineup will aim for greater consistency beyond Phil Salt, who was the lone warrior with a quick 63 in their previous outing. On the bowling front, the experienced Bhuvneshwar Kumar remains their biggest danger, having taken ten wickets thus far, while Josh Hazlewood and Rasikh Salam offer the needed depth.
The Titans are now ranked sixth and are coming off a devastating 99-run defeat to Mumbai. Shubman Gill has been the visitors’ top performer, ranking fourth in the Orange Cap race with 265 runs and an amazing average of 53. However, the remainder of the batting order, notably Sai Sudharsan and Jos Buttler, must step up after being bowled out for only 100 in their previous game. The bowling attack is led by Prasidh Krishna and Kagiso Rabada, who will be entrusted with limiting RCB’s power-hitters on a short pitch. With Rashid Khan in the mix, GT will look to disrupt RCB’s rhythm and reclaim their place in the top four.
