The three-time Indian Premier League (IPL) champions, Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), have announced a new partnership with the Indian sportswear brand, SIX5SIX, which will serve as the team’s official kitting and merchandise partner for the 2026 season.

SIX5SIX will design and manufacture the Kolkata-based franchise’s official playing uniforms, training apparel, and fan merchandise under the terms of the deal. The cooperation intends to blend performance-driven sportswear with unique design aspects that represent KKR’s brand and tradition. The agreement will also aim to increase the franchise’s merchandising presence in India, offering fans better access to authentic clothes and lifestyle goods. SIX5SIX will use KKR’s large fan following and worldwide connections to boost its position in the Indian sportswear sector.

KKR, one of the most well-known teams in the IPL with several championships, continues to draw top brands seeking to engage with cricket fans. The cooperation with SIX5SIX exemplifies the growing relevance of retail and garment collaborations in the modern sports industry, where teams are increasingly focused on generating fan engagement and brand value off the pitch.

Furthermore, the news comes during a hectic period for the KKR front office. Along with this commercial agreement, the franchise recently strengthened its speed attack by adding Zimbabwe’s Blessing Muzarabani as a replacement for Mustafizur Rahman.

As the unit prepares to kick off its 2026 season against Mumbai Indians on March 29 at Wankhede Stadium, the collaboration with SIX5SIX assures that the players, led by skipper Ajinkya Rahane, and supporters will be the most glamorous unit in the league.

Notably, SIX5SIX has also extended their partnership with Punjab Kings as the official apparel partner for the 2026 season. The agreement intends to improve the Punjab Kings’ merchandising ecology while also increasing the availability of legally licensed gear and fanwear ahead of the upcoming IPL season.
