JK Super Cement, a leading cement manufacturing company in India, has been unveiled as the principal sponsor of Lucknow Super Giants ahead of the 2026 season of the Indian Premier League, reinforcing the franchise’s commercial strength as preparations intensify for the new campaign.
As part of the agreement, JK Super Cement’s logo will feature prominently on the front of the Super Giants’ playing jerseys, one of the most premium brand placements in franchise cricket. The position guarantees high-impact exposure across live broadcast coverage, streaming platforms, match highlights, team training sessions, and in-stadium branding throughout the IPL window.
The partnership brings together two Uttar Pradesh-rooted entities, aligning the industrial heritage of JK Cement with the growing cricketing footprint of Lucknow Super Giants. Both organisations share strong ties to the state and aim to leverage the collaboration to deepen engagement with fans and consumers across the region.
Dr Raghavpat Singhania, Managing Director, JK Cement Ltd., said, “Cricket is not merely a sport — it is the heartbeat of Uttar Pradesh. Our organisation has been a steadfast supporter of cricket for decades, with a clear vision to nurture and strengthen the sporting ecosystem from the grassroots level upward. Partnering with the Lucknow Super Giants marks a natural progression of this commitment. We are thrilled to support a team that represents our home state, and we remain dedicated to providing a platform for local talent to shine on the global stage.”
Mr Madhavkrishna Singhania, Joint Managing Director and CEO, JK Cement Ltd., added, “At JK Super Cement, our promise has always been to stand by the home builder through every stage of construction, catering to all their needs to Build Strong. In the same spirit, we are here to support the Lucknow Super Giants. Just as we provide the strong foundation for a safe home, we aim to be the strong support system for LSG as they head into the tournament. We are confident that this partnership will amplify our brand presence, and we are delighted to stand with Lucknow Super Giants as Principal Sponsors, as together we BUILD STRONG fan connections and engagements”
Mr Vinay Chopra, CEO, RPSG Sports Private Limited, continued, “We are thrilled to welcome JK Super Cement as the Principal Sponsor for Lucknow Super Giants in the upcoming IPL 2026 season. This partnership unites two proud sons of Uttar Pradesh—JK Cement, a cornerstone of India’s construction industry, and LSG, the heartbeat of our state’s cricketing passion, both embodying resilience, strength, and unwavering ambition. Together, we will BUILD STRONG foundations for success, amplifying fan connections and nurturing local talent on the national stage, much like JK Super Cement supports home builders every step of the way. This collaboration celebrates our shared roots and promises an exciting journey ahead for LSG supporters across the nation.”
Beyond jersey branding, the collaboration is expected to include integrated marketing campaigns, fan engagement initiatives across Uttar Pradesh, and on-ground activations designed to connect industrial strength with cricketing passion.
The 2026 IPL season is scheduled to run from March 26 to May 31. Entering the campaign after a seventh-place finish in the previous edition, Lucknow Super Giants have reshaped their squad with a mix of international pedigree and emerging talent. Heading into the auction with a purse of INR 22.95 crore, the franchise secured the services of Sri Lankan all-rounder Wanindu Hasaranga, South African fast bowler Anrich Nortje, Australian wicketkeeper-batter Josh Inglis, as well as Mukul Choudhary, Naman Tiwari and Akshat Raghuwanshi.
The team continues to build around an established core that includes Rishabh Pant, Nicholas Pooran, Mitchell Marsh, Aiden Markram, Abdul Samad, Mayank Yadav and Mohammad Shami, positioning the franchise for a renewed push in IPL 2026.
The agreement further underscores the growing convergence between traditional manufacturing sectors and India’s premier cricket property, where top-tier sponsorship assets remain central to brand-building strategies in a highly competitive marketplace.
