The five-time Indian Premier League champions, Chennai Super Kings (CSK) have announced a new multi-year partnership with Pulkit TMT.
The agreement, which marks the brand as the franchise’s official strength partner, will span the 2026 and 2027 IPL seasons. Notably, the deal is a significant strategic step for Pulkit TMT, one of South India’s top steelmakers, as it joins the high-stakes field of sports marketing via India’s most successful cricket franchise.
The alliance was officially announced in Chennai, bringing together two companies noted for their longevity and solid performance.
Vinod Garg, Chairman of Pulkit Steels, said, “Chennai Super Kings represent consistency, resilience, and the ability to perform under pressure. These qualities strongly resonate with the values that define Pulkit TMT as a brand. Our association as the ‘Strength Sponsor’ allows us to take this message of reliability to a national audience through one of the most powerful sporting platforms in the world.”
The agreement is anticipated to increase Pulkit TMT’s brand visibility across digital and broadcast platforms, tapping into the “Whistle Podu” army’s dedicated following.
As the official strength partner, Pulkit TMT will be incorporated into the CSK ecosystem via numerous crucial touchpoints, i.e., brand visibility, stadium presence, and branding rights throughout match days, with a focus on the IPL season’s peak engagement periods. Furthermore, the brand will also use CSK’s pan-India reach to boost brand recognition in important infrastructure and construction industries outside South India.
CSK CEO, K.S. Viswanathan, said, “CSK has always believed in building partnerships that reflect endurance, performance, and trust. We are pleased to welcome Pulkit Steels to the family for the next two editions and look forward to a strong journey together.”
This news comes after a number of high-profile commercial extensions and signings for Chennai Super Kings as they prepare for the 2026 season. Pulkit TMT joins a distinguished roster of partners that includes Ashok Leyland, Gulf Oil, Skybags, and VI.
