IPL 2025: SRH unveil new pact with playR

The Indian Premier League (IPL) team, Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) have unveiled a partnership with the global sports and lifestyle entity, playR.

Per the development, playR has been named the official merchandise partner of the team for the ongoing season, and the brand will have the exclusive rights to produce and distribute Fan Jersey alongside multiple non-exclusive fan merchandise.

Ravi Kukreja, Founder of playR and Director of iCOREts Private Limited, expressed his enthusiasm about the partnership, saying, “We’re absolutely delighted to partner with Sunrisers Hyderabad for the first time. The team has cultivated a loyal and enthusiastic fan base, and we’re excited to provide a premium collection of products that allow Orange Army fans to showcase their support with pride. At playR, we aim to deliver more than just merchandise—we want to foster a strong connection between the fans and the team through our innovative and high-quality offerings.”

playR was founded in 2021 and contains products ranging from equipment, athleisure and accessories. Other elements like bats, balls, gloves, pads, etc, also consist of playR’s inventory. playR is currently bootstrapped and available in more than 150 retail stores across the world. For the current season, playR signed the dotted lines with Gujarat Titans (GT) and Chennai Super Kings (CSK).

On the field, SRH didn’t have a formidable commencement to their IPL campaign. The side lost three fixtures out of four and is currently in the last spot. The Pat Cummins-led unit will next take on GT on Sunday, April 6.
