IPL 2025: Punjab Kings name FREEMANS as official tools partner

This collaboration enhances Punjab Kings' IPL season preparations while demonstrating FREEMANS' dedication to sporting excellence in the region.

The Indian Premier League (IPL) team, Punjab Kings (PBKS) have developed a sponsorship association with FREEMANS, a global manufacturer of precision measuring tools.

As part of the deal, FREEMANS Tools has been named as the team’s official tools partner for the upcoming season. This collaboration enhances Punjab Kings’ IPL season preparations while demonstrating FREEMANS’ dedication to sporting excellence in the region.

FREEMANS, which was founded in Ludhiana, Punjab in 1950, is celebrating its 75th anniversary in the manufacturing industry this year. The company has expanded its presence in the sports world through partnerships with Kerala Blasters FC in the Indian Super League (ISL), Tamil Thalaivas in the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL), Saint Lucia Kings in the Caribbean Premier League (CPL), and more.

Recently, the Punjab-based unit has also announced a partnership extension with Avon Cycles, one of India’s leading cycle manufacturers.

Ahead of the IPL 2025, PBKS have reinforced their unit by appointing World Cup-winning former Australian captain Ricky Ponting as head coach and Shreyas Iyer as the new captain. The team’s core features Yuzvendra Chahal, the IPL’s leading wicket-taker, foreign stars such as Marcus Stoinis and Glenn Maxwell, and a bright collection of young Indian players, putting the franchise in good contention for the championship.
