IPL 2023 SRH vs DC: Match Preview, head-to-head, and streaming details

SRH have a slight edge over DC in the head-to-head scenario.

In the 34th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) will welcome Delhi Capitals (DC) at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad tonight i.e. Tuesday, April 24 at 7:30 PM IST.

So far this season, the Sunrisers have won two of their six games and are ranked second in the standings from the bottom. They lost the first two games, won the next two, and will be entering this game on the back of two previous losses. In their most recent match, Abhishek Sharma led the way with the bat for SRH with 34 runs off 26 deliveries against Chennai Super Kings (CSK). However, no other batter from the Hyderabad-based team could assist him, and thus they ultimately concluded with a below-par total. Despite Mayank Markande‘s two wickets in the game, SRH failed to defend the target and finally lost to Chennai. The 2016-winning team will attempt to make an excellent comeback at home tonight.

On the other hand, DC have had the worst start to their campaign this season and lost five games on the trot. Their fortune changed during the last outing against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) as they achieved their first victory of the season due to an all-round performance. The Capitals restricted the Knight Riders to just 127 runs and chased the total in 19.2 overs. The DC skipper, David Warner shined in their first win of the season as he scored a resilient fifty in the run chase comprising eleven boundaries. Among bowlers, Ishant Sharma, Anrich Nortje and Kuldeep Yadav showcased brilliance for Delhi in the first innings. The team will bank on its previous performance and will look to gather two more points tonight.
