IPL 2023 RCB vs DC: Match preview, head-to-head and streaming details

RCB have the upper hand in the head-to-head competition between the two teams.

In the 20th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) will host Delhi Capitals (DC) at the Chinnaswamy stadium in Bangalore today i.e. Saturday, April 15 at 3:30 PM IST.

Faf du Plessis and company were unable to maintain their composure at critical points in their previous encounter against Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) due to which they lost by one wicket in a last-ball drama. Two failed run-outs in the last over proved fatal, and they were defeated for the second time in a row. However, in the first innings, all three RCB top-order batters smashed half-centuries and batted wonderfully. The skipper and Glenn Maxwell scored 79 and 59 runs respectively, while Virat Kohli struck 61 off 44 deliveries. Mohammed Siraj and Wayne Parnell each took three wickets for their team. With one win in three games, RCB now sits eighth on the points table and will attempt to mount a comeback.

On the other hand, David Warner‘s men have not been in contention in any of their IPL 2023 matches thus far. In their previous game, DC was defeated on the last ball by Mumbai Indians (MI). Warner (51) and Axar Patel (54) were the only batters to score a few runs for the team. The Delhi-based team also appeared hopeless with the ball, with only Mukesh Kumar grabbing wickets. The good news for DC fans is that Mitchell Marsh will be available once more. After returning home to get married, the Australian has rejoined the group and is set to slot right back into the starting XI. Delhi is in the last place after four straight losses and will be looking for their first win today.

Head-to-head:

RCB have the upper hand in the head-to-head competition between the two teams. Both sides played 27 games against each other, with Banglore winning 16 of them and DC winning ten. One fixture between the two was also washed out.
