The official broadcaster of the Tata IPL 2022, Star Sports has released a new campaign promo film for the series #YehAbNormalHai starring Rishabh Pant, following films featuring MS Dhoni and Hardik Pandya that wowed fans.
The film encourages viewers to take the Delhi Blues lightly at their own risk. “Jo Kabhi nahi fata, Wo bhi fat sakta hai is saal,” he says in the manner that the 15th edition of the IPL can be won by anyone.
The film begins in yet another tense situation where a bomb squad is attempting to defuse a bomb while the clock is ticking. Based on their previous experiences, the bomb squad decides to cut the harmless and ineffective blue wire.
When the Delhi Capitals (DC) captain Pant hears this, he appears on the screen and asks them about their obsession with cutting the blue wire. One member of the bomb squad jokes that for the past 14 years, all of the blue wires have been ineffective.
Pant then tells them to proceed at their own risk, which sets off the explosion. Pant laughs and says, “Hamare blue pe Kabhi mat uthana sawaal!!! Jo Kabhi nahi fata, Wo bhi fat sakta hai is saal. In this IPL #YehAbNormalHain!”
The 15th edition of the IPL will begin in less than a week. The first game will be played on March 26 at the Wankhede Stadium between Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Chennai Super Kings (CSK).
The IPL 2022 will consist of 74 games, including the playoffs and final. Each team will play 14 games during the league stage. The tournament will come to an end on May 29.
