The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2016 champions, Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) will look to forget all the uncertainties that surrounded them last year and put on a rocking show this year. After finishing at the bottom in the previous season, SRH will try to turn things around with new players and new coaching staff.
If every member of the squad is available and fit, Sunrisers Hyderabad will be one of the strongest and most balanced teams in IPL 2022. They could be the recently commenced edition’s dark horses. Under Kane Williamson‘s leadership, SRH will undoubtedly be a team capable of challenging any opponent.
On the commercial front, the Hyderabad-based franchise has signed a slew of lucrative deals to increase the value of its brand and expand its sponsorship portfolio. The team has also improved its brand recognition and marketing through key partnerships.
In January, an e-commerce platform for used vehicles, Cars24 has partnered with SRH to become the new title sponsor for this season. As part of the deal, the company’s logo will appear on the front of SRH’s jersey.
Following that, in the team’s primary sponsorship category, BKT Tires inked a new deal with the team as an official tyre partner. Jio has also been the official telecom partner. Along with them in this list is Kent RO systems and TCL.
Companies that believe in sponsoring multiple teams, Dream11 and ACKO, have also made it to the group of the team’s sponsorship portfolio.
Furthermore, the franchise has signed sponsorship agreements with Thums Up and the nbl. Wrogn, an Indian luxury fashion and apparel company is the team’s official merchandise and lifestyle partner.
As the tournament approached, Kane’s team continued to sign strategic sponsorships. Other companies that are sponsoring the Hyderabad-based team this season include Electrorush, Munch, Kotak Mahindra Bank, McDowells, RedFM 93.5, Tenali Double Horse, and FanCode.
The Orange Army will begin its IPL 2022 campaign against Rajasthan Royals (RR) on Tuesday, March 29 at the MCA Stadium in Pune.
