In the 67th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022, Gujarat Titans (GT) will take on Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) on Thursday, May 19 at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai at 7:30 PM IST.
Gujarat Titans are the first and the only team so far to qualify for the playoffs of the ongoing edition of the tournament. They have been a dominant force since the commencement of the season. A victory on Thursday will keep them alive in the playoffs race and a defeat would lay their hopes on the result of other teams’ fixtures. In their previous game, the 2016 finalists failed miserably while chasing the target of 210 against Punjab Kings (PBKS). The form of Virat Kohli and the pacers leaking runs have been the biggest concerns of the team currently. The Bangalore franchise played 13 games, won seven and lost six fixtures. After registering 14 points, RCB have acquired the fifth position.
