The Indian Premier League (IPL) team, Rajasthan Royals (RR) have announced an extension of the deal with the Indian fantasy sports platform, Dream11.
The winners of the inaugural IPL season announced this news on their social media platforms. The post said, “Dream it. Live it. 💗
Pleased to be extending our association with @dream11 as our official partner. 😁”
Dream11 is an Indian fantasy sports platform where users can participate in fantasy cricket, hockey, football, kabaddi, and basketball. Dream11 became the first Indian gaming corporation to become a unicorn back in April 2019.
The fantasy sports platform is a skill-based game in which users make a team of real players for an upcoming match to compete against other fans for significant cash prizes.
Fans can use their sports knowledge to select a team within a budget of 100 credits that they believe will score the most points in the selected match.
Recently, the Jaipur-based team have announced a sponsorship deal with the British company for premium EVs in India, One Moto India. Along with them, the franchise has also signed sponsorship deals with Dollar Industries and Happilo.
The Sanju Samson-led side will commence their IPL 15 campaign on March 29 against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) at the MCA stadium in Pune.
