IPL 2022: One Moto India becomes EV two-wheeler partner of Rajasthan Royals

The official logo of One Moto India will be featured on the back of the Royals' playing helmets and caps.

The British company for premium EVs in India, One Moto India has announced a sponsorship deal with the Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise, Rajasthan Royals (RR).

In this agreement, One Moto India will be one of the team’s associate sponsors and will be named as the official EV partner in the two-wheeler segment for the upcoming IPL season that commences from March 26.

As per the deal, the official logo of One Moto India will be featured on the back of the Royals’ playing helmets and caps. The mobility company will also launch a special range of limited editions of One Moto two-wheelers – RR X One Moto. The players of the Rajasthan-based franchise will also promote the usage of Electric Vehicles and will encourage the team’s fans to participate in India’s EV revolution.

In addition, the company will also provide a custom range One Moto Rajasthan Royals limited edition scooter throughout RR’s academies in Mumbai, Nagpur and Dubai.

The Royals have also always adopted a sustainable approach with steps like opting for jerseys made of sustainable material and the team has been a frontrunner to send a message which is in line with what One Moto India as a brand has been doing. The team and the brand have synergies in place, and the league could be an opportunity to educate masses about making an informed choice of switching to EVs.”

On the commercial field, the inaugural IPL champions have signed sponsorship deals with Dollar Industries and Happilo.

The Royals will commence their IPL 2022 campaign against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) on March 29.
