The new Indian Premier League (IPL) entrants, Gujarat Titans (GT) have appointed the global leader of sustainable agriculture products and solutions, UPL LTD as their sustainability partner for the ongoing season of the Indian cash-rich tournament.
The collaboration plans to emphasize sustainable farm solutions, especially in the state of Gujarat.
Gujarat is the first state where UPL commenced its Groundnut ProNutiva programme which is dedicated to making the nation self-reliant in edible oil production and satisfying the requirements of the enhancing food chain.
In the previous year in Gujarat, the brand’s programme covered over 2.5 lakh acres and helped over 75000 farmers.
UPL aims to offer sustainable solutions to farmers through innovation which will help them financially along with cultivation sustainability.
Along with displaying noble efforts in promoting the sustainability of UPL LTD, this association will also portray the new IPL team as a socially aware unit.
