IPL 2022: Gujarat Titans launch two new rooms ‘Home of the Titans’ & ‘The Home Stadium’ in metaverse

Ahead of the IPL 2022 GT launched their logo in the metaverse.

One of the two new teams of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022, Gujarat Titans (GT), has designed two new rooms in the metaverse. With this development, the IPL debutants aim to increase the standard of the fan experience.

The process of creating two new rooms was carried out after launching their logo in the metaverse ahead of the commencement of the ongoing edition. The logo launch in the metaverse received a positive response from the fans of the team and with the addition of two new rooms, GT have made their mark on the virtual platform.

With ‘Home of the Titans’, the Gujarat-based franchise has launched their locker room in the metaverse. This initiative will give a closer look to the fans into the team’s locker room and will also make them feel like a part of the unit. On the other side, fans of the new team will get a chance to display their support for the team.

The second room launched by the franchise is ‘The Home Stadium’. The purpose of this room is to provide an insight into the home venue of GT, which is the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. This room will enable fans to witness some interesting pictures and details about the stadium’s construction etc.

Speaking on this development, the Captain of the Gujarat Titans, Hardik Pandya, said, “For any cricketer, the fans always hold a special place in the heart. Over the years, we have been fortunate to reach out to the fans through various social media platforms and engage with them. I am excited about The Metaverse as it allows us another opportunity to get closer to them. I am sure the Gujarat Titans will build a strong and loyal fan base.”

Col Arvinder Singh, COO of Gujarat Titans, said, “Since the beginning, we have put the fan at the centre of our marketing strategies. We were thrilled with the great response to our logo launch in The Metaverse. Through The Metaverse, we aim to tap into a large audience and reach out to a plethora of fans around the globe. Technology allows us to engage with people from every nook and corner of the globe. Through the metaverse, we endeavour to create a strong community of fans for the Gujarat Titans.”

On the field, the Hardik-led team will face Punjab Kings (PBKS) on Friday, April 8 at 7:30 PM IST at the Brabourne Stadium.
