IPL 2022: Delhi Capitals ink sponsorship deal with OctaFX

OctaFX is a global brand that provides people-focused investment services.

The Indian Premier League (IPL) outfit, Delhi Capitals have signed a sponsorship deal with the investment services brand, OctaFX. With this deal, OctaFX has been labelled as the principal sponsor of the 2020 finalist. Last year, OctaFX was the digital partner of the Delhi-based team.

OctaFX is a global brand that provides people-focused investment services. It offers opportunities to learn about investments and apply what you’ve learned to achieve your financial goals. Currency trading, copy trading, stock trading, and cryptocurrency are all part of the data-driven environment.

Anna Raes, the official representative of Octa, said, “With such spirit-driven and noble aspirations, for Octa, the DC represents a like-minded community to align with for the people. In these challenging times, we also wanted to deliver fun and enjoyment to our traders and cricket lovers. That’s why an idea of the principal sponsorship came out naturally.”

DC Interim CEO Vinod Bisht, commented, “We are delighted to extend our partnership with OctaFX. The previous season’s association was an extremely successful one, as Octa became an integral part of our digital content, which is so crucial in reaching out to our fanbase. We couldn’t be more excited about having Octa back on board for what we are sure is going to be a very fruitful partnership.”

Ahead of the IPL 2022 mega auction, DC retained their skipper Rishabh Pant (INR 15 crore), Axar Patel (9 crore), Prithvi Shaw (INR 7.5 crore) and Anrich Nortje (INR 6.5 crore).

In the mega auction, the Delhi team managed to bag some of the best T20 players worldwide. The list includes David Warner, Mitchell Marsh, Mustafizur Rehman, Rovman Powell, Tim Seifert, Shardul Thakur, etc.

After getting eliminated in the knockout stage in the previous edition, the Pant-led DC will look forward to winning their maiden IPL title in the upcoming season.
