Sun Group owned team Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) on Tuesday announced long list of sponsors for IPL 2021. The list included 15 sponsors for new season. They have improved on last year’s tally by bringing two additional sponsor.
The sponsor list is led by the cement manufacturing giant JK Lakshmi Cement who has continued to be in association since the previous year as the team’s title sponsor, along with Ralco Tyres as their principal sponsor. The franchise has added Kent RO as another principal sponsor with Ralco Tyres for the upcoming season. Another addition to the list of partners is Anil Kumble’s tech company Spektacom.
Jio, TCL, Dream 11, Jai Raj Steel, Nerolac and Colgate have all been retained by SRH as sponsors for IPL Season 14, with their names and logos featuring on the jersey. Other sponsors like Kotak Bank, Tyka, IB Cricket, Double Horse and Fancode have too continued their collaboration with the franchise.
Mr. K. Shanmugam, Chief Executive of Sunrisers Hyderabad, showed his excitement on boarding these many big names for this year’s campaign after having a tough time during the previous year. While unveiling the list of sponsors, he said, “We are excited to have so many coveted brands on board for the 2021 edition of Indian Premier League. Last year has been extremely tough for all of us, business-wise and personally.”
SRH has a strong fan base, fondly known as Orange Army, so it is not a surprise seeing them attracting more sponsors with every passing season. Moreover, SRH has been one of the most consistent teams in the last few seasons. They have lifted the trophy once under captaincy of David Warner and regularly qualified for playoffs every year. On field success and strong base is possibly the best combination for every brand, so SRH continues to show commercial growth every season.
