The five-time IPL champions Mumbai Indians has acquired the fourth spot in the VIVO IPL 2021 with eight points in eight games. They commenced phase 2 of the competition with a 20-run defeat against Chennai Super Kings on Sunday.

Bumrah has 117 wickets in 100 matches in his IPL career with an economy of 7.40 runs. Bumrah has repeatedly proved himself in the death overs for MI and he will once again be Rohit Sharma’s go-to bowler in the latter stage of the innings.
