IPL 2021 Phase 2 SRH vs PBKS: Preview, head-to-head, and sponsors

SRH has acquired the eighth spot whereas PBKS has occupied the seventh position in the IPL standings.

In the 37th fixture of VIVO IPL 2021, Sunrisers Hyderabad will play Punjab Kings on Saturday at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium at 7:30 PM IST.

Punjab Kings will be heading into this fixture following a two-run defeat against Rajasthan Royals on Tuesday. They have currently acquired the seventh spot in the IPL standings with six points in nine games. PBKS has a robust batting top-order, which is their key to success in the second phase. The Punjab-based franchise has had an underwhelming IPL season so far, after an unfortunate defeat in their previous game, KL Rahul and the team will aim to bounce back.

Sunrisers Hyderabad has occupied the eighth position in the IPL standings with just two points in eight games. Despite having the likes of David Warner, Kane Williamson and Rashid Khan in their line-up, they are struggling to register a victory. The Hyderabad-based team, led by Kane Williamson will seek to make a drastic turnaround as they did in the previous edition.

Sunrisers Hyderabad and Punjab Kings have faced each other on 17 occasions, the former had won 12 times while PBKS emerged victorious five times.

The last time SRH and PBKS faced each other was back in April during phase 1 of the tournament, where the former won the match by nine wickets.
