In the 43rd fixture of the VIVO IPL 2021, Rajasthan Royals will be taking on Royal Challengers Bangalore on Wednesday at the Dubai International Stadium at 7:30 PM IST.
Rajasthan Royals have acquired the sixth spot in the IPL standings with eight points in ten games. They lost their previous game to Sunrisers Hyderabad by seven wickets on Monday. The loss against SRH made it tough for the Royals to qualify for the playoffs. The skipper Sanju Samson was the performer with the bat for RR, his efforts went into vain as they couldn’t defend in the second innings. The Rajasthan-based franchise will have to win all the remaining matches to stay in contention for the playoffs.
Royal Challengers Bangalore find themselves in third place in the IPL standings with 12 points in ten games. After an underwhelming start to phase 2, they bounced back following a victory against Mumbai Indians on Sunday. The skipper Virat Kohli, Glenn Maxwell, and Harshal Patel have been the star performers for the side so far ahead of the knockout matches.
